Board of Directors Meetings
The CBCA Board of Directors meets on the 3rd Monday of each month, at 7:00 PM at 701 Marina Bay Place. All members are invited to attend.
The annual general membership meeting is held on the second Sunday in January at 2:00 PM. Notification is provided not less than 10 days or more than 50 days prior to the meeting. At least 25% of the members must attend, or be represented by proxy at the annual meeting. No member may carry more than 5 votes, including proxy votes.
Annual dues are due and payable on by March 31st of each year. Annual dues become past due on April 1nd of each year. Members with past due annual dues will be assessed a $50.00 penalty and will be charged interest at the annual rate of 12%. A lien will be filed and lake privileges will be suspended on property that fails to pay dues before June 1st. All costs associated to file a lien will be considered a fee due for the property. All past fees must be paid before a member will be granted lake privileges.
Each year the CBCA will publish a membership directory. Copies are supplied to all regular members. The directory is for your personal use only and may not be used for commercial purposes.
The directory contains information on the rules and regulations in effect for Capitol Beach Lake and members are expected to understand and abide by all applicable rules at all times.
The CBCA will publish an occasional newsletter. CBCA sponsored social events; monthly Board Meeting summaries, and other information of interest will be published in the newsletter.
